CC part of the jury of De Gouden Noot
Container Centralen (CC) is proud to be part of the jury of the Packaging Innovation Contest De Gouden Noot (“The Golden Walnut”). André van Brummen, Chief Operations Officer at CC, has lead several development projects of Reusable Transport Items at CC. He brings this knowledge to the table to help select the winners.
Since its start in 1958, De Gouden Noot has developed into the world’s most competitive packaging contest. It is organized by NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre, the association of companies addressing the activity of packaging throughout the supply chain of packaged products.
The contest has no subcategories; all entries are judged on their over-all innovativeness. The judging takes place in two rounds. In the first round, ten finalists will be selected. In the second round they will be given the opportunity to present their entries. The winner takes home the unique winner’s trophy containing a solid gold walnut, symbol of sustainable, effective and innovative packaging.
- The award ceremony will take place on 8 October 2020 in the A’DAM tower in Amsterdam.
- From 23-26 November 2020, the winner of the packaging innovation contest, together with the winners of the Silver, Bronze and the other seven finalists, will be in the spotlight at the Innovation Space throughout at the ALL4Pack in Paris.
- The finalists will also be on display for the 170,000 visitors of the interpack packaging exhibition (25 February – 3 March 2021 in Dusseldorf, Germany) on the NVC stand ENB/03 at the busy North Entrance.
It’s still possible to enroll in the competition. More information: www.degoudennoot.com
