What is your job within Container Centralen? I am HR Manager at CC.
What do you like about your job? As HR Manager I have direct influence and impact on the organisation and the people.
What experience did you bring to Container Centralen? I have an educational background in work & organisational psychology. I started my career in commercial recruitment and developed further towards end-responsible HR management positions.
Why did you choose Container Centralen? I chose CC because of the international working environment, the positive focus on HR and the opportunities for further development.
What are your hobbies outside work? I love to travel, meet up with friends, hiking, finding new recipes to cook. Also jogging, but that’s more of a love/hate relationship, necessary to stay fit and in shape.
What can we wake you up for at night? To catch an airplane towards a sunny, exotic destination.
What are you proud of? I am proud of being where I am today, both professionally and personally. Set goals for yourself and over time you will see the progress you make, step by step. No gut’s no glory.
What makes you happy (at work)? I am happy at work when I can add value, to the organisation and people.
How do you drink your coffee? Black.
What are your thoughts on working at home during the pandemic? The upside of the pandemic is that it has fast-forwarded the technical processes and structures for employees to work from home. What I find difficult is the minimalisation of the social interaction, especially in a company like CC with such a focus on people and a family culture. I am looking forward to going back to office soon.
