CC Depot Services

To meet our customers’ needs in the best possible way, CC’s international depot network is continuously being optimized. The locations for new CC depots are carefully selected to make sure that they are placed where they are needed; the capacities of the depots are balanced; and the types of Returnable Transport Items (RTIs) and services offered at each depot are also considered carefully.

Some of the services offered at CC depots are:

Cleaning service: CC can do the cleaning of your RTIs at very competitive prices due to the fact that CC negotiates prices on behalf of all our customers. CC does the cleaning according to high-quality cleaning requirements and is constantly monitoring the cleaning process. Cleaning is invoiced per item cleaned. The cleaning fee will be individual per customer depending on volume.

Sorting service can be ordered with CC, who can carry out additional sorting and quality checking compared to our normal quality requirements for handing out RTIs (depot policy). This can be required if the customer’s internal processes are highly automated. Sorting is invoiced per item.

Storage service is offered by CC when extra storage space is needed for your RTIs. A contract will be signed with CC, including a date when the items must be available to the customer again. Storage will be invoiced per RTI, and the storage fee will depend on local market conditions.

Pallet booking service is only relevant in combination with the use of CC crates (CC Freshboxes or CC Eurocrates). If pallets are used as load carriers, CC offers to:

• Exchange with retailers
• Inform appropriate pool organization about the transaction
