CC Balance Service

The overall purpose of CC Balance Service is to keep track of RTI transactions. CC will perform the administrative task of monitoring all transactions to secure that if discrepancies in dispatched and received quantities occur between the parties (e.g. producer and exporter), then these are solved quickly. This process secures high quality of the balance figures and makes the customer’s supply chain reliable.

CC Balance Service builds on the logistic tool CC LogLink. All transactions are entered into CC LogLink, and all involved parties can check their own balances with their respective partners. If a party disagrees to any balance, the discrepancy can be settled quickly. Otherwise, CC will intervene and supply the lacking RTIs and send a hire contract to the party owing the RTIs.

Ensuring Availability

CC will also coordinate the physical delivery of the ordered RTIs to help secure the lowest possible cost for the user.

CC monitors our customers’ use of RTIs and notifies customers if their usage is outside the defined availability bandwidth. Hence CC secures quick reaction and ensures that price adjustments can be made if our customers have flow changes. In general, at least once a year, CC advise our customers about their optimum RTI contract portfolio.

For the above services, the customer pays a balance control fee per rotation.
