Returnable Transportation Equipment Leasing - Pricing

 

Our customers usually enter into long-term hire contracts for their core needs for returnable transport items (RTIs), and supplement this by short-term hire supply of additional RTIs during peak periods.

 

Long-Term Hire

Equipment supply under the CC Pool System follows a once-only lump sum payment for a long-term hire contract. The payment of this sum gives you the right to use the agreed number of RTIs through the entire hire period. When the initial lump sum has been paid, only a modest annual pool fee, which covers repair and maintenance, has to be paid. Contracts are automatically renewed each year by the payment of the annual pool fee – no further payments for the equipment itself.

 

And the investment in CC RTIs is low-risk for you: If your need for RTIs changes over time and you have too many RTIs on hire, you have the option to transfer the contracts to a third party at market value, covered by a CC transfer contract. This simply transfers the name of the contract holder, for a nominal fee, and transfers the responsibility for payment of the annual pool fee.

 

Short-Term Hire

Short-term hire covers contracts of 12 months or less. If you need additional returnable transport items (RTIs) during peak seasons like Christmas or Easter, or the spring plant bedding season, CC is able to support you by the hire of additional RTIs on short time hire. We carry a substantial stock of returnable transportation equipment to meet industry’s needs. By this service, CC helps you to avoid investment in non-core equipment needs.

 

Pool fee

To make sure that our returnable transport items (RTIs) are always in a good and usable condition, we charge an annual pool fee (comparable to insurance). The pool fee is used to cover repair or replacement of damaged RTIs on a 1-for-1 basis. CC receives the damaged stock and immediately hands out the good – no charge beyond the fixed annual pool fee, and no waiting until you have a functional RTI.

CC’s repair / exchange depots (see Contact section to find nearest CC Depot) maintain sufficient stock levels so that your damaged RTIs can be replaced with functional RTIs immediately. With CC’s support you will always have all of your trolleys or other RTIs ready to roll.
